Northwood Students Attend Summer Leadership Workshop

Northwood High School sent five students to the North Carolina Association of Student Councils' 2022 Summer Leadership Workshop this past July. The workshop has been offered for 62 years and is an opportunity for students and adivsors to refresh their skills and enthusiasm before starting the new year. One delegate reported that through the workshop she "learned how to manage my time better which is so important" and had an "opportunity to work on my public speaking and communication skills." The gathering also provides an important networking opportunity, and one delegate reports that they are "still in contact with some of the people I went to camp with!" Registration for the workshop is $350 per person, and the NLF helped support this year's delegation.
